Managing Board

Managing Board

A board that consists of five professors leads the research center. Three professors are members of the Technical University of Clausthal. The other two board members may be affiliated with another university, non-university research institution and/or federal institution, each concerned with the development of the geological underground. They are elected amongst the professors who belong to the research center by the general meeting.

One representative of the scientific staff as well as one representative of the technical and administrative employees of the center attend the meetings of the board. Both are elected by their respective group at the instigation of the managing board.

Until the professorship for high-performance drilling technology and automation at the Institute of Subsurface Energy Systems (ITE) at Clausthal University of Technology is filled, the Drilling Simulator Celle will be led provisionally by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gunther Brenner.
